Lexus CPO Program: Video Overview

If you’re seeking out a little more peace of mind than a typical used car can offer, you might want to consider a certified pre-owned (CPO) vehicle. Not all certified pre-owned programs are the same, though. Here’s a look at what Lexus has to offer in its L/Certified program.

Before a car earns a certified pre-owned warranty from Lexus, it endures a thorough check to make sure there’s no unseen damage. There’s also a 161-point mechanical inspection, and Lexus requires its pre-owned vehicles to be no more than 6 years old and have fewer than 70,000 miles on the odometer. Finally, Lexus details and reconditions these vehicles inside and out before offering them for sale.

When it comes to the warranty, Lexus’ CPO plan is among the best. It offers coverage for up to 6 years from the car’s original sales date, plus offers unlimited mileage within that time frame. Lexus also offers special financing terms, a loaner car for covered repairs and 24-hour roadside assistance. Another benefit? There’s no deductible for repair work and the first four scheduled service visits are free. Our only major complaint is that the warranty isn’t transferable to the next owner.

While a certified pre-owned Lexus may cost a little more than other used cars, the program’s excellent terms could mean money well spent. Find a Certified Pre-Owned Lexus for sale
