To keep the Fusion competitive with this set, Ford updated the styling on the Fusion and offered more standard equipment than it had in the 2018 model. Inside it gets a 4.2-inch configurable driver’s display, two 12-volt power outlets, manual climate control, dual illuminated visor mirrors, power door locks, cloth interior with a rear 60/40 folding seat, a steering wheel that manually tilts and telescopes, power windows all around with one-touch up-and-down fronts, a rear window defroster, rain-sensing wipers, and a stereo with four speakers. You also get Ford’s Sync system which allows for voice commands, and a USB port for charging. Ford’s 360 Co-Pilot is included on all trims of the Ford Fusion, including the S, and includes automatic emergency braking (with pedestrian protection), blind-spot information (with cross-traffic alert), lane-keeping system, a rearview camera, rain-sensing wipers, and auto high-beam headlights. You also get standard cruise control which you can access on the steering wheel. You can find Fusion S versions with the Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist system with Sync3, an upgraded version of the Ford Co-Pilot system. It includes adaptive cruise control, voice-activated navigation, dual-zone automatic climate control, an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and two USB ports. At this trim, you get the 8-inch infotainment screen as standard. You get auto stop-start (on the front-wheel-drive version only). The all-wheel-drive package comes with 18-inch machined aluminum wheels, heated front seats, and heated side-view mirrors. The hybrid comes with the upgraded Co-Pilot360 Assist package and includes adaptive cruise and automatic headlights. You can upgrade to the Co-Pilot360 Assist package and choose an SE appearance package that gets you blacked-out looks all around the exterior, light putty cloth seats with brown vinyl bolsters, and stone-colored stitching on armrests and seats.
