Unfortunately, the xB doesn't get good fuel economy and you'll rarely earn more than 30 miles per gallon. Offered in both a 4-speed automatic transmission (yes, weird we know) or a 5-speed manual transmission, the "box on wheels" xB excels at maximizing cargo space at a thrift-store price. The last model year only came in one trim that included such features as air conditioning, power accessories, cruise control, a first-aid kit, a tilt-telescopic steering wheel, a rear-view backup camera and a 6-speaker Pioneer audio system with a touchscreen, HD radio, and iPod/USB and Bluetooth connectivity. 2015 was the first year that a back-up rear view camera was offered. When we reviewed the 2015 xB we described the driving position as a cross between "driving a school bus and a UPS truck." The term, "you get what you pay for" accurately describes the xB.
