There is an option for 2nd-row captain chairs as well. The 287-horsepower V6 engine and the 6-speed automatic transmission delivery a smooth, car-like ride while earning approximately 17-23 mpg in fuel economy. Traction/stability control and 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes are standard on all versions of the Flex. Our editors thought the Flex offered so much value for families, we ranked the 2017 model year the 3rd best used midsize SUV under $25,000 and the 2019 model year was among the Top 10 Most Affordable New 3-Row SUVs.
