The interior seats could be arranged in multiple layouts, allowing for almost any type of interior storage and hauling need you might have. Since there was only one generation of the Element, there is not a significant difference between the different model years but potential buyers should not expect the technology and safety features such as rear-view back up cameras that are standard in more recent cars. However, if you're looking for an affordable, utilitarian SUV to handle all your outdoor activities and camping needs, the Element may be just the SUV you need.
