The interior seats could be arranged in multiple layouts, allowing for almost any type of interior storage and hauling need you might have. The rear-hinged half doors and split rear tailgate add a practicality to the Element that is perfect for those transporting pets, sports equipment or even for small businesses. Since there was only one generation of the Element, there is not a significant difference between the different model years but potential buyers should not expect the technology and safety features such as rear-view back up cameras that are standard in more recent cars.
