Competitively priced within this segment, the GT engine and standard features make the Stinger stand out from its more expensive competitors such as the Audi A5 and BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe. Available with rear- or all-wheel drive, and a choice of engines delivering up to 368 horsepower, the Stinger did more than check the boxes. Instead, it boasted the driving feel and responsiveness that distinguish the merely fast cars from the thoroughly fun ones. It also looked the part, with bold exterior styling and an interior that could evoke some of Europe’s sleek sedans. When you combine the Stinger's value with an excellent warranty, the combination is hard to beat. Plus, every Stinger includes standard safety features such as front-side airbags, side-curtain airbags, a blind spot system, and a rearview camera while both the <a href="https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/kia/stinger/gt1" target="_blank">GT1</a> and <a href="https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/kia/stinger/gt2" target="_blank">GT2</a> trims come with forward collision warning featuring automatic braking and pedestrian detection. These safety features are the reason why the NHTSA awarded the Stinger with an excellent 5-star safety rating. Did we mention the cavernous trunk, comfortable ride, and quiet interior? Our editors thought so highly of the Stinger, the 2018 model was named to our 12 'Must Test Drive' cars for that year and they listed the 2019 model as one of the five great modern day muscle cars available for under $40,000.
