The 2024 Toyota Prius hybrid differs from past iterations, being one of the sleekest-looking cars on the market. Yet, it hasn’t deviated one inch from its mission of delivering impressive fuel economy and legendary Toyota quality. Prius buyers can choose from LE, XLE, and Limited trims. All offer the option of all-wheel drive, have exceptional reliability and high resale scores, and are priced well within the average car buying budget. All trims use the same 2.0-liter gas engine and single electric motor, but opting for AWD adds a second electric motor at the rear wheels.

Its standard safety systems include automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, road sign recognition, and automatic high-beam headlights. Also standard is a blind-spot monitor and rear cross-traffic detection. LE highlights include bi-LED auto-off headlights, power-heated side mirrors, manual front seats with cloth upholstery, single-zone automatic climate control, and a 7-inch digital display for the speedometer, fuel gauge, drive modes, and customizable settings. The LE’s standard multimedia system includes an 8-inch touchscreen, a 6-speaker AM/FM radio, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, SiriusXM satellite radio, and Bluetooth hands-free phone connectivity. Optional on the LE are front and rear parking sensors with automatic braking.
