PLEASE READ ALL DETAILS OF VEHICLE CONDITION The good: No warning lights on dash No major accidents (Fender bender on carfax) Tires replaced in January A/C blows cold, heated seats fully functional All four calipers replaced in the past year and a half, I put in new front brakes this past August Parking brake cable replaced in 2024 Oil changes every 5-6k miles with full synthetic for as long as I've owned the vehicle ~50k miles on the current engine, the original engine was replaced in 2023 under a warranty extension by a Hyundai dealer in Troy MI (I'm happy to provide documentation). Two keys and a spare tire! The bad: There are a LOT of creaks and rattles. Aside from the front end links (which I replaced in 2024), I believe the suspension is all original for what that's worth. You need to fight the transmission occasionally, it takes a bit of work to get into 1st and reverse depending on the weather (you sometimes just need to double clutch, but it never has locked me out of a gear). The clutch still has no slip, so I'd imagine it could be the synchros starting to go should you care to fix it. Minor electronic gremlins: the clock resets itself from time to time, and the buttons don't work on half of the steering wheel (on the media control side, the cruise control buttons still work fine). Some scuffs and dents on the bodywork and wheels, but no major damage or rust spots on the paint that I'm aware of. I found some little sparkles in the oil when I was changing it a month or so ago. So far the engine still runs and drives just fine and isn't burning any oil as far as I can tell, but you need to be very mindful of consistent oil change intervals with good oil on Hyundai i4 engines from this era. You're buying a beater at this price point, but you'll be buying a beater with heated seats, keyless entry, leather, and a wonderful panoramic sunroof.
