Rough on the outside, hidden gem on the inside! I have owned this truck since 2007. I have had a ton of custom work done on the motor and I have the receipts. All the work was done in 2018, 2022 and 2023. Here is the quick list... Oil, Coolant Flush, Fuel Filter, Tire Rotation, and AC service were just done Tires have less than 15k on them New ARP Head Studs New Oil Cooler Replaced high pressure oil pump New water pump Heads Resurfaced and Pressure Tested New Glow Plugs Turbo Upgrade with 360 Bearing Kit Rear end rebuilt New Tire Rods and Ball Joints New Axle track bar and sway bar links New batteries (less than a year) Alpine Stereo 7&quot; din with MTX amp (Apple carplay and android auto) All new gaskets, belts, and hoses (Since 2018) New Timing Cover New Transfer Case Shift Motor Engine Tuner Some of the paint is peeling and it needs a new tailgate, but the truck runs fantastic and is very reliable, just took it to Canada last year. It has been in one accident, back in 2009 but that was mainly body damage in the rear passenger side and was covered by insurance. All the stuff I listed as replaced had nothing to do with the accident. Yes I am asking more than the KBB but I have spent over 18k on the engine repairs/modifications that KBB does not account for. Once you drive it you will understand.
