Very rare and ultra high-performance 2003 Jaguar S-Type R 4.2L Supercharged V8 sedan with 400hp. Enthusiast-owned and cared for. Don't let the mileage fool you- this car has been very well maintained &amp; serviced and it is completely reliable and dependable. This car is the best horsepower for dollar you will find in any vehicle. Production numbers are difficult to find, but there were something like 205 of these S-Type R cars made for 2003. This is the most high-performance Jaguar that existed at the time. This car competed with the BMW M5 and the Mercedes AMG vehicles. The Type R was the top-of-the-line S-Type with the 400 hp 4.2L supercharged V8 engine, ultra high-performance Brembo brakes, electronically-controlled performance suspension, sport seats, upgraded wheel/tires, plus expected features like heated leather seats, Bluetooth, moonroof, Alpine premium sound and more. This car has just been extensively serviced and gone over. Recent work includes replace of all belts and tensioners, replace tie rod ends, A/C serviced, A/C condenser replaced, A/C evaporator core repaced, suspension ride height sensors replaced, suspension control arms replaced, oil/filter change and more. No check engine light on, no warning lights on. This Jaguar is reliable, dependable and trustworthy. Cold A/C and hot heat. All power windows and moonroof working properly. This car is tight, powerful and it is amazing to drive. Fantastic acceleration, superb handling and world-class brakes. The paint, body and exterior look excellent for the age and mileage. This Jag looks beautiful. Good aluminum wheels and the Continental tires have very good tread. Extremely clean and well-kept interior in beautiful shape. Superb leather seats, clean carpets and very nice interior switches/controls/buttons. Non-smokin g vehicle. Note there are minor exterior nicks and small flaws. We have occasionally seen an intermittent ABS/brake light that goes away the next time you turn on the car. This car has a perfect CARFAX report with no accidents and no damage reported. Only 3 private owners since new. Clean and clear title. 26 service records reported in the CARFAX- this car has always been very well maintained.
