If you have been looking for one of these beautiful, limited-edition, iconic and rare Route 66 PT Cruisers for your collection, this is the one you've been waiting for. I promise. This is it. You most likely will not find a nicer one. This car has been TOTALLY pampered and well maintained its entire life and there are no significant rust issues anywhere (on or under the car) worth mentioning. The paint and clearcoat are in positively gorgeous like-new condition! Within the past year I have replaced all of the major aging parts which needed to be replaced...fluids, belts, hoses, bearings, bushings, alternator, pwr steering pump, tires, brakes, etc along with repairing a couple minor paint issues. I have fully documented everything I did to it. There is nothing left to be done. The car LITERALLY looks and runs like it's a very nearly new car. I am retired and have been working on this car sort of as a hobby. However, I am not in a position to keep and store a rare collectable car. This car belongs in a collector's garage where it can be preserved and admired by other car enthusiasts. You may notice the small amount of customization I have done such as the fuel door and grill inserts which I replaced with chrome ones. Also a couple surfaces in the dashboard area which I have painted with quality automotive paint and clearcoat to match the other OEM surfaces. These changes can be reversed if you prefer as I have saved the original OEM parts.
