I have absolutely loved having this versatile vehicle. It is easy to park, incredibly spacious, and drives more like a small truck. The back seats can easily click out from the floor and lift up to the sides of the vehicle. This is perfect if you want to move something clunky like furniture or bikes. I purchased this vehicle from an owner in 2018 with around 120,000 miles, and it now is just shy of 190,000. The first photo is from a few years ago before the roof rack. I used this vehicle as a daily commute and to haul items. I purchased a vehicle with higher MPG in May, and the Element has been mostly sitting in the driveway since then. It may need a new battery, as I had to jump it to get it running again. There is a cracked windshield from lawn maintenance over the summer. Additionally, there is some rust on the passenger back door, and very obvious wear and tear to the interior. Some of the plastic could be clipped back into place. I took it in for an inspection and oil change in April and can tell you some of the parts that may need to be replaced or fixed in the coming years to ensure it is a reliable commuting vehicle. With standard maintenance/repairs needed for older vehicles, this may go for another 30-70,000 miles I wish I could keep and maintain this vehicle, but we are moving across the country and need to downsize. There is a following of Honda Elements for good reason. They are great vehicles and hold their value well.
