Dodge Ram -Park Ranger Edition Welcome to the Parks Department! This long-bed truck enjoyed regular maintenance as a county-owned vehicle in the parks of southern Illinois. (Maintenance records are available.) The orange flashing warning light on top works beautifully and can be seen from a great distance. (See it flashing in this YouTube video: https://youtu.be/HVI9FJCsYhQ?si=r3YVFzKe02nzNAZJ) Powerful V-8 engine gets up to speed nicely. Excellent mileage! This workhorse has the normal wear and tear you'd expect from a 1998 truck. Some dings, dents, scrapes and scratches are present. (See photos.) Truck occasionally shakes temporarily at low speeds possibly due to tread-wear on the front tires. The parks dept told me the A/C was working, although they had to charge up the freon as reflected in the maintenance records. This park ranger truck would be a great fit for highway workers, wide-load escorts, utility workers, handy man jobs and more!
