1987 AMC Eagle 30 4WD Limited For Sale This 1987 AMC Eagle Limited 4-Door Wagon is the kind of Eagle enthusiasts actually hunt for: final-year, Garnet Metallic, 4.2L inline-six, 3-speed TorqueFlite automatic, and 4x4 with AMC's Selec-Trac shift-on-the-fly system - plus it still has something most Eagles lost decades ago: the original window sticker. From the factory, the Limited was the top trim, and this one was ordered like a premium wagon instead of a bare-bones snow beater. Standard equipment for the Eagle wagon included items like power steering, power front disc brakes, tinted glass, fold-down rear seat, full carpeting, cargo cover, woodgrain interior accents, wheel opening/rocker moldings, dual body-side pinstriping, and the classic Eagle details like dual rectangular headlamps and nerf-style bumper strips.Where this specific car separates itself is the option list shown on the window sticker:Factory options (per the window sticker) Garnet Metallic paint Automatic transmission Air conditioning Rear window defroster Rear wiper/washer Cruise control Tilt steering wheel Power door locks Right (passenger) remote control mirror Roof rack Light Group (adds the small convenience lighting throughout the cabin/cargo area) Convenience Group (includes features like intermittent wipers, headlights-on warning, and a RH lighted visor vanity mirror) Protection Group (adds period-correct protection items like guards and mats) And then there's the standout piece: the stereo. This Eagle is equipped with the AM/FM Cassette stereo with the Concert Sound upgrade, and the sticker shows that Auto Trans + A/C + AM/FM Stereo package called out as a $1,503 line item - huge money in 1987, and a rare box to see checked on an Eagle today.Bottom line: it's a high-option, documented, final-year Eagle Limited in a great color, with the right drivetrain and a window sticker that backs up the story - exactly what you want if you're after an Eagle with personality and provenance.See the "videos" tab above this description box for a cold start and walk around. Please call ahead to confirm the vehicle's current availability and viewing location.
