OVERVIEW The 2020 Ford GT Carbon Series represents one of the purest expressions of Ford's halo supercar a lighter and sharper take on an already legendary machine. At its heart lies a 3.5-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost V6, generating 660 horsepower and 550 lb-ft of torque. Paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, the GT rockets from 0-60 mph in under 3 seconds, with a top speed of 216 mph. Its carbon-fiber monocoque chassis, active aerodynamics, and hydraulic suspension create a driving experience that feels directly connected to Ford's Le Mans-winning race car. The Carbon Series distinguishes itself with exposed carbon-fiber elements including lightweight carbon-fiber wheels, titanium lug nuts, and a titanium exhaust system. This example has been further personalized with carbon fiber racing stripes to add a subtle flash of individuality to its otherwise track-focused character. Inside, the weight-saving theme continues. The Carbon Series deletes cupholders and storage bins in the name of performance, while exposed carbon-fiber surfaces complement Alcantara-trimmed seats and steering wheel. With only a handful of Carbon Series models produced annually, the 2020 edition is among the most collectible modern Fords ever made. An estimated 350 were produced each year, with a total of 1,350 produced between 2017 and 2022.
