Up for sale is our 2008 Ford Taurus SEL Sedan 4D. White exterior with a tan interior has served well for 213,000 miles. It's equipped with a powerful V6 3.5 Liter engine and 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. Front-wheel drive. Key features include: ABS (4-Wheel) Dual power leather seats Moon roof Fog lights Alloy wheels Air conditioning, cruise control, and power windows/locks. Safety features include dual and side airbags. The AM/FM stereo. There are complications with the car. Will not currently pass emissions. Three competent mechanics have looked at it and the problem is not clear. All relevant sensors work, but the computer is not &quot;closing the loop&quot; so it fails the readiness test. There are occasional misfires that cause the check engine light to turn on. Off right now and running smoothly. Tire monitor light stays on. $60 per wheel to put on new sensors, but I decided to live with it. Driver's seat is worn and torn. Scraped fender drivers rear. Some good stuff to share too. The tires (Yokohama) still have 50%+ tread left. Power steering rebuilt in 2023. Front pads and rotors October 2025. A/C and heat work fine. New headlight assemblies and lamps 2023.
