This is a 1996 Volvo 850 wagon, with white paintwork and dark gray trim. Black leather interior with dark gray carpet. We have owned it since 1999 and it has been regularly serviced throughout. It is the best and most reliable car we have ever owned and it is only being sold as we no longer need two cars due to retirement. The engine is original and runs very smoothly. The transmission was replaced around 2007 - it also runs smoothly. The odometer (and trip meter) are broken so mileage is an estimate at around 190,000 miles. The engine timing belt was changed at around 140,000 miles. The exterior paint and trim is in good condition and the interior is also clean (no pets or children) and in good condition except for sun-damaged front seats and dashboard. The car has a winter package and comes with traction control, heated seats, headlamp wipers, etc. The car was just serviced (oil change, fluids, brake check) and it has a new smog certificate, good thru March 2027. The alloy wheels and tires are in good condition and have plenty of wear left. There is a compact spare and original tools (jack, etc). The car has roof rails and also comes with a set of original Volvo roof bars and bicycle carriers, plus a set of tire chains.
