If you're searching for a 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Willys Wheeler for sale in Fresno, CA, this blacked-out 4WD build at T & D Auto Group is worth a serious look. Priced at $18,999 and wearing a sharp all-black exterior, this four-door Wrangler Unlimited checks every box for Central Valley buyers who want genuine off-road capability without the new-car price tag. ===== About This 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Willys Wheeler ===== This 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited comes in at 107,064 miles a very normal number for a Wrangler platform that routinely sees 200,000-plus miles when maintained properly. The Willys Wheeler trim is a purpose-built off-road package that Jeep introduced to honor the original World War II Willys MB, and it adds meaningful hardware over a base Sport model. The black exterior gives this rig an aggressive, unified look that turns heads both on the highway and on the trail. Stock number 1838 is on the lot now at T & D Auto Group in Fresno, California. ===== 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Performance and Engine ===== ==== 3.6-Liter Pentastar V6 ==== Under the hood sits Jeep's 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, one of the most proven engines in the modern Chrysler lineup. It produces 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, giving the Wrangler Unlimited more than enough grunt for highway merging, towing light loads, and powering through technical off-road terrain. The Pentastar earned a reputation as one of the most reliable engines Fiat Chrysler ever built, and by 2017 early-generation teething issues had long been resolved. ==== 5-Speed Automatic Transmission and 4WD System ==== Paired with a 5-speed automatic transmission, this Wrangler delivers smooth, predictable shifts on city streets and open freeway stretches. The full-time 4WD system with low-range transfer case means you have real capability when the pavement ends whether that's a Sierra Nevada fire road, a desert wash east of Fresno, or a muddy field after a Kings River flood season. The Willys Wheeler trim adds Dana 44 rear axle, heavy-duty rock rails, and a limited-slip rear differential, which together give this Wrangler a meaningful mechanical edge over a standard Sport. ===== Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Willys Wheeler Features and Interior ===== The Willys Wheeler trim builds on the Sport foundation with off-road-focused upgrades that actually matter on the trail. Inside, buyers get a functional, straightforward cabin designed for durability rather than luxury easy-to-clean surfaces, fold-flat rear seats that open up serious cargo room, and the removable door and fold-down windshield design that makes the Wrangler uniquely versatile. The four-door Unlimited body means rear passengers aren't squeezed in as an afterthought, making this a practical daily driver for Fresno families who also want weekend adventure capability. Features typically include air conditioning, Uconnect infotainment with Bluetooth connectivity, hill-start assist, and trailer sway control. ===== Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Reliability and Ownership ===== The JK-generation Wrangler (2) has one of the strongest long-term reliability reputations of any SUV on the road. Owners consistently report that with regular oil changes and basic maintenance, these trucks run well past 150,000 and 200,000 miles. The 3.6 Pentastar V6 is a particular bright spot it replaced the older 3.8-liter engine starting in 2012 and brought significant gains in both power and durability. Common ownership items to be aware of at this mileage include inspecting the differential fluids, checking the transfer case, and watching the death wobble phenomenon that some JK owners encounter often traced to worn track bar bushings or loose steering components that are inexpensive to address. Overall, the 2017 Wrangler Unlimited Willys Wheeler is on>
