We are the original owners of this 2008 Hyundai Elantra and have decided to sell it after many years of reliable service because we are moving out of the country and won't need it anymore. The only work this car has ever required is oil/filter changes, tire and battery changes, and throttle body/injector cleaning. In other words, regular maintenance but never any mechanical problems. In addition to the normal maintenance, we did a bunch of preventative work a few years ago such as engine belt and hoses. All work performed at the local Hyundai dealer. It is by far the most reliable car we have ever owned and whoever buys it will benefit from the fact that we have always maintained it as recommended by the dealer. Rated for 33mpg, this is the perfect car for today's crazy gas prices. The interior is basic but very comfortable. Cold AC, power locks/windows, remote lock/unlock, cruise control, aux audio input. The tires are in excellent condition. This was always a third vehicle for us, so we didn't drive it very often which is reflected in the low miles. The vehicle spent about half its life in a garage and the other half outside. Unfortunately the clearcoat has started to fail on the hood/roof/trunk so that's the only flaw in this otherwise perfect car. Zero accidents. Zero mechanical problems. Thule roof rack included.
