Eddie Bauer Edition. One owner, bought it new in the fall of 1995, kept it garaged until 2021. No accidents, no kids so interior is in great condition, always kept up with proper maintenance. Unfortunately the engine runs rough after it warms up, the computer runs one bank too rich. I don't know why, could be anything from a vacuum leak to requiring valve job, head replacement, etc? I replaced MAF, all OX sensors, plugs, wires, coil, fuel injectors, air filter, etc but still runs rough. Transmission works good. The transfer case only engages 4 wheel operation for short periods of time then kicks it back to 2wd. Maybe a bad sensor? There are a few other known problems; the overhead compass/temp display only works occasionally, a common problem usually from a failing solder trace, 2nd row passenger doors don't open from the inside, sometimes driver window &amp; sunroof don't open, stock radio won't power off, multi CD doesn't work. This 1996 Ford Explorer has 235,000 miles and comes with the Eddie Bauer package. Features include 4WD with a 4.0L V6 engine, leather seats with dual power adjustments, and a sunroof. The white exterior has running boards and a roof rack, while the beige interior includes both front and rear air conditioning, cruise control, and power windows and locks.
