If you're searching for a 2017 Toyota Corolla iM Hatchback for sale in Fresno, CA, this sleek black example at T & D Auto Group deserves a serious look. Priced at $13,888 with over 113,000 miles, it represents the kind of honest, affordable transportation that Toyota is famous for delivering well into high-mileage territory. Whether you're a first-time buyer, a commuter, or simply someone who values reliability over flash, this Corolla iM checks a lot of boxes. ===== About This 2017 Toyota Corolla iM Hatchback ===== The 2017 Toyota Corolla iM is not your average Corolla sedan it's a sportier, more versatile hatchback body style that was actually developed in partnership with Scion before Toyota absorbed the nameplate. That heritage gives it a slightly more youthful, driver-focused character than the standard Corolla. This particular example wears a sharp black exterior finish and has covered 113,914 miles, which for a Toyota 1.8-liter four-cylinder is really just getting warmed up. With proper maintenance history, these engines routinely push past 200,000 miles without major drama. ===== 2017 Toyota Corolla iM Performance and Engine ===== ==== 1.8-Liter Four-Cylinder With CVTi-S Sport Sequential Transmission ==== Under the hood sits Toyota's proven 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine, producing around 137 horsepower and paired here with the CVTi-S Sport Sequential automatic transmission. The Sport Sequential designation matters this isn't a mushy, droning CVT. Toyota tuned this unit with simulated gear steps and a more responsive feel, making it more engaging than most continuously variable transmissions in this class. Front-wheel drive keeps things predictable and fuel-efficient, with EPA estimates around 28 city and 36 highway. For daily commuting around Fresno and the Central Valley, that kind of fuel economy adds up quickly at the pump. ===== Toyota Corolla iM Features and Interior ===== ==== A Well-Equipped Compact Hatchback ==== The Corolla iM Hatchback comes standard with a surprisingly generous feature set for its price point. Buyers can expect a 7-inch touchscreen audio system with Bluetooth connectivity, a backup camera, automatic climate control, and Toyota's pre-collision system with pedestrian detection. The interior is laid out with a clean, driver-focused design the center stack angles slightly toward the driver, and the flat-bottom steering wheel gives it a sportier feel. Rear hatch practicality is a genuine strength here too. The cargo area is usefully sized for grocery runs, gym bags, or weekend trips up to the Sierra Nevada foothills. ===== Toyota Corolla iM Reliability and Ownership ===== ==== What Owners and Industry Data Say ==== Toyota's reputation for long-term reliability is well-earned, and the Corolla iM benefits fully from that engineering culture. The 2ZR-FAE engine in this car is a known quantity it's been used across multiple Toyota and Scion models and has a strong track record. Common owner feedback highlights the car's low maintenance costs, solid build quality, and the fact that routine upkeep like oil changes, brakes, and tires are straightforward and affordable. The CVTi-S transmission has had fewer complaints than most CVT units in the industry, largely because Toyota engineered it conservatively. At 113,914 miles, a pre-purchase inspection is always smart, but there's nothing about this vehicle's spec that should give a buyer pause. ===== Why Buy From T & D Auto Group in Fresno, CA ===== T & D Auto Group is an independent dealership located in Fresno, in the heart of Fresno County, and has built its reputation by offering quality pre-owned vehicles at competitive, transparent prices.
