Perfect Auto Collection Signature Listing 2017 Rolls-Royce Dawn VIN SCA666D56HU102836 | 12,966 miles White body, black hood, no coachline, and Mugello Red inside. A Rolls-Royce has rarely been ordered with less restraint. Why We Acquired This Vehicle The Dawn is the only genuine four-seat convertible Rolls-Royce builds, and the company has described it as the most sensual car it has ever made. Where rivals offer a rear bench that exists to be counted rather than used, the Dawn's rear seats are full size, reached through coach doors hinged at the back, beneath a six-layer fabric roof that closes in silence. This example arrived with its original Monroney label, and it is the most expensive document we have handled. Against a $341,125 base, the total came to $417,255 - more than seventy-six thousand dollars of optional equipment, led by the Dawn Package at $27,630 and the Canadel paneling at $16,975. The color combination is what stops people. Andalusian White at $10,650, ordered with a black hood and with the traditional coachline deliberately omitted, over a Mugello Red and black interior with black seat piping. It is a bold, almost sporting specification on a marque built around discretion. At 12,966 miles it has been used sparingly and kept beautifully. The verified appointments are detailed in full below. The question is not how quickly it accelerates but whether the car was assembled and specified with the seriousness the marque implies, and whether we would be proud to place it in our own collection. What we find remarkable here is the nerve. Goodwood offers a coachline hand-painted by a single craftsman with a squirrel-hair brush, and this owner declined it - then ordered a black hood against white paint, black trim at the rear, black piping through a red interior, and nearly seventeen thousand dollars of open-pore wood across the doors and rear deck. Seventy-six thousand dollars of options went into making a Rolls-Royce look like nothing else on the road rather than like every other Rolls-Royce. We do not see that often, and at under thirteen thousand miles we do not see it in this condition often either. Why Enthusiasts Value This Model The Dawn is the rarest of the modern Goodwood cars and the only one that opens. Rolls-Royce engineered it as a genuine four-seater rather than a two-plus-two, which meant reworking the structure substantially rather than simply removing a roof - and the result is a convertible with a rear compartment adults can actually use, entered through rear-hinged coach doors. The roof is the engineering showpiece. Six layers of fabric, insulated to the point that the >
