Powered by Ford SVTs hand-built supercharged 4.6L DOHC V8 paired to a 6-speed manual transmission, these Cobras were factory rated at 390 horsepower but quickly became known for producing considerably more than advertised. The Eaton-supercharged engine, independent rear suspension, aggressive styling, and unmistakable exhaust note helped make the 2 Cobras instant legends among Mustang enthusiasts, and today they continue to be one of the most collectible modern SVT products Ford ever produced. This Cobra remains very close to stock with only a few tasteful upgrades added by the original owner over the years. It features a cat-back exhaust system that gives the car a deeper, more aggressive tone while still retaining a clean factory appearance, along with a Ford Racing wire cover set that adds a really neat performance look to the engine bay. The original factory wire covers are included with the sale, along with the original factory shifter, as the car currently has an upgraded aftermarket shifter installed for a more precise feel. The body is exceptionally straight, the paint has an excellent shine, and the undercarriage is absolutely immaculate and rust-free. Clearly a vehicle that has been cared for properly since new and never abused.
