If you're in the market for a premium used SUV in the Central Valley, this 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland for sale at T & D Auto Group in Fresno, California is worth a serious look. Finished in a sharp black exterior, this 4WD Overland trim sits near the top of the Grand Cherokee lineup and delivers a combination of luxury, off-road capability, and everyday practicality that few competitors can match especially at an asking price of just $16,888. ===== About This 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland ===== At 108,784 miles, this Grand Cherokee is well into its life but far from finished. The Overland trim was Jeep's flagship Grand Cherokee specification before the Summit, meaning it was loaded from the factory with features typically reserved for European luxury SUVs. The all-black exterior gives it a commanding, aggressive look on the road, and the 4WD drivetrain means it's equally at home on Fresno County's highways as it is on a forest road headed toward the Sierra Nevada. For buyers who want a premium SUV without the premium price tag, this one lands in a sweet spot that's hard to argue with. ===== 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Performance and Engine ===== ==== 3.6-Liter Pentastar V6 With 8-Speed Automatic ==== Under the hood sits Jeep's 3.6-liter VVT Pentastar V6, one of the most proven and widely used engines in the automotive industry. This engine produces approximately 295 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, giving the Grand Cherokee confident acceleration whether you're merging onto Highway 99 or passing on a two-lane mountain road. The 8-speed automatic transmission manages power efficiently and smoothly, contributing to better fuel economy than older 5- and 6-speed units while keeping highway cruising refined and quiet. The 4WD system adds genuine all-terrain versatility. Whether you're dealing with a rainy Central Valley winter or heading up toward Shaver Lake or Kings Canyon for a weekend trip, the Grand Cherokee's 4WD hardware gives you the confidence to go where other crossovers won't. ===== Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland Features and Interior ===== ==== What the Overland Trim Brings to the Table ==== The Overland specification is where the Grand Cherokee transitions from a capable truck into a genuine luxury vehicle. Buyers can expect premium leather-trimmed seating, an available heated and ventilated front seat setup, a power liftgate, a Uconnect infotainment system with an 8.4-inch touchscreen, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a full suite of driver assistance technologies. The interior materials in the Overland trim are a noticeable step above the Laredo and Limited trims, with soft-touch surfaces and genuine wood or metal accents throughout the cabin. Cargo space is generous at over 36 cubic feet behind the rear seats and more than 68 cubic feet with the rear seats folded making this one of the most practical SUVs in its class for families, outdoor enthusiasts, and anyone who needs real hauling capability without sacrificing comfort. ===== Jeep Grand Cherokee Reliability and Ownership ===== The 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 in this generation Grand Cherokee has an excellent long-term reputation. It's one of the most produced V6 engines in modern automotive history, and parts availability is strong, which keeps maintenance costs reasonable. The 8-speed automatic transmission, when properly maintained with regular fluid changes, is known to be durable well past 150,000 miles. Owners of 2017 Grand Cherokee Overland models consistently report that the ride quality and interior refinement hold up well over time. Common ownership considerations for high-mileage examples include inspecting the air suspension (if equipped), checking for any TIPM electrical quirks, and ensuring the transfer case fluid has been serviced. At 108,784 miles, a thorough pre-purchase inspection is always>
