If you're searching for a 2014 Scion tC for sale in Fresno, CA, this 10 Series Hatchback Coupe at T & D Auto Group deserves a serious look. With its sporty styling, spirited manual transmission, and a trim level that marked a genuine milestone for the tC nameplate, this is one of the more engaging used coupes you'll find in the Central Valley at any price point. ===== About This 2014 Scion tC 10 Series ===== The 10 Series was Scion's limited-edition celebration trim, released to commemorate ten years of the tC model. It wasn't just a badge job Toyota and Scion added exclusive exterior accents, upgraded interior touches, and a distinct character that set it apart from standard tC trims. At 119,967 miles, this coupe has seen real-world use, but the tC's 2.5-liter four-cylinder is well-known for its durability well past the 100k mark when maintained properly. For a buyer who wants style, driving engagement, and value without a luxury car price tag, this is a compelling option in Fresno's used car market. ===== 2014 Scion tC Performance and Engine ===== ==== 2.5-Liter Four-Cylinder with 6-Speed Manual ==== Under the hood sits Toyota's 2AR-FE 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder, producing around 179 horsepower and 173 lb-ft of torque. That's a respectable output for a front-wheel-drive sport coupe in this class. Paired with the 6-speed manual transmission, the driving experience is genuinely engaging you're in full control of every gear change, making city driving through Fresno and highway runs up Highway 99 feel connected and responsive. The manual gearbox is a significant selling point here. Most used sport coupes at this price have already been converted to automatic-only inventory, so finding a stick-shift tC 10 Series is increasingly rare. The clutch feel is direct, the throws are reasonably short, and the engine pulls smoothly through the rev range. ===== Scion tC 10 Series Features and Interior ===== ==== What the 10 Series Trim Adds ==== The 10 Series trim elevated the standard tC with a number of thoughtful upgrades. Buyers can expect features such as a Pioneer audio system with a touchscreen interface, Bluetooth connectivity, a panoramic moonroof one of the tC's most talked-about features upgraded alloy wheels with a distinct finish, and 10 Series badging and interior accents throughout. The interior is a driver-focused two-plus-two layout. Rear seating exists and is usable for shorter trips, but this car is really about the front occupants. The bolstered front seats, low roofline, and wraparound dash give it a cockpit feel that compact sedan buyers simply don't get. For Fresno drivers who spend time on surface streets and commuting across the metro, the tC's cabin keeps things engaging. ===== Scion tC Reliability and Ownership ===== The Scion tC benefits from Toyota's engineering DNA, and that shows in long-term ownership data. The 2AR-FE engine is shared with several Toyota models and has a strong track record for longevity. Common maintenance items at higher mileage include spark plugs, the serpentine belt, valve cover gasket inspection, and ensuring the transmission fluid has been serviced on the manual unit. Consumer reports and owner forums consistently rank the tC as one of the more reliable used sport coupes under $15,000. Rust is rarely a concern in California's dry climate, and Fresno's heat is generally gentler on components than humid or salt-air environments. With proper maintenance history reviewed at purchase, a 119,000-mile tC can deliver many more years of reliable daily driving. ===== Why Buy From T & D Auto Group in Fresno, CA ===== T & D Auto Group has built a reputation in Fresno County for offering used vehicles that represent real value for everyday buyers.
