The BMW E36 M3 occupies a significant place in the evolution of the BMW M3 lineage, representing the model's maturation from its homologation-inspired origins into a more refined and versatile high-performance platform. Produced in the United States from the mid-1990s through 1999, the E36 M3 introduced a broader balance of daily usability, precision engineering, and real-world performance, helping establish the M3 as one of the most respected driver's cars of its era. At the heart of the American-market E36 M3 was BMW's robust and charismatic inline-six engine, an evolution of the marque's longstanding tradition of naturally aspirated six-cylinder performance. Paired with a close-ratio 5-speed manual transmission, the E36 delivered a driving experience defined by linear power delivery, balanced chassis dynamics, and exceptional road manners. Its formula was both approachable and deeply rewarding - a car equally capable of spirited backroad driving, long-distance touring, and everyday enjoyment. BMW further expanded the appeal of the E36 M3 by offering it in multiple body styles, including coupe, convertible, and sedan configurations. Among enthusiasts, the sedan has become an especially compelling variant, blending the performance credentials of the M3 platform with the added practicality and understated presence of a four-door body style. It is a configuration that has aged particularly well, offering a combination of analog driving character, everyday usability, and subtle distinction that continues to resonate with collectors and enthusiasts alike. Nearly three decades after its introduction, the E36 M3 remains a cornerstone of modern BMW enthusiast culture. Clean, low-mileage examples are increasingly sought after, particularly those that retain desirable factory specifications and benefit from thoughtful, period-appropriate upgrades. For many enthusiasts, the appeal lies in the E36's purity: hydraulic steering, relatively light curb weight, a naturally balanced chassis, and the direct engagement of a traditional manual gearbox. When enhanced with well-chosen performance modifications, the platform becomes even more compelling while preserving the core character that made it so beloved from the start. EVO MotorWerke is proud to present this exceptional 1998 BMW M3 Sedan, showing just 47,000 miles and finished in Titanium Silver Metallic over Dove Gray Leather interior. This M3 is offered with a clean two-owner history from new and is equipped with the desirable 5-speed manual transmission. This E36 benefits from a carefully selected suite of performance upgrades designed to elevate the driving experience while remaining true to the spirit of the original car. Most notably, the car features a Vortech supercharger system, complemented by Dinan Stage 2 performance software and Dinan cold air intake which were dealer installed from new. The result is an especially desirable and highly engaging E36 M3 Sedan - one that combines the analog charm and everyday usability of BMW's iconic four-door M car with the added excitement of supercharged performance. With its low mileage, manual transmission, and enthusiast-focused upgrades, this example represents a rare opportunity to acquire a uniquely sorted and thoughtfully enhanced modern classic.
