Equipped with individual throttle bodies and double-VANOS variable valve timing, the naturally aspirated 4.9-liter S62 V8 was factory-rated at 394 HP and 369 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Getrag 6-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Standard performance features include an M-tuned sport suspension, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), M Driving Dynamics Control, and M Servotronic speed-sensitive power steering.
