OVERVIEW The 2016 McLaren 675LT is a purist's supercar built in limited numbers to celebrate the essence of lightweight performance and track-inspired engineering. Reviving the Longtail name from McLaren's legendary F1 GTR, the 675LT sits above the 650S as a more focused and visceral driving experience. Power comes from a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V8, producing 666 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. The engine sends power through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, allowing the 675LT to sprint from 0-60 mph in just 2.8 seconds. With a 220-pound weight reduction compared to the 650S, a faster steering rack, and recalibrated ProActive Chassis Control suspension, the 675LT delivers the kind of feedback that makes it one of McLaren's most beloved driver's cars. The Longtail philosophy is expressed not only in performance but also in design. The 675LT features an extended active rear wing for added downforce, larger air intakes, a titanium exhaust, and extensive use of exposed carbon fiber.
