The biggest concern with any older hybrid is the battery, and that's already been taken care of. The hybrid battery was replaced under warranty on July 9, 2026, and a new 12-volt battery was installed on January 2, 2026, giving the next owner peace of mind. This Escape has approximately 171,600 mostly highway miles. It starts easily, runs and drives normally, has passed smog, and averages about 28 MPG combined city/highway. It has a clean title in hand, and the registration is paid through September 2026. The A/C blows cold, power windows and locks work properly, the interior is clean, and there is no rust. The tires have decent tread remaining. The vehicle was involved in a front bumper accident in 2010, which was professionally repaired, and has provided many years of reliable service since. I'm also being upfront about the few items that don't work: the radio and the keyless-entry remote. Neither affects the way the vehicle drives. I'm selling only because I now drive less than 2,000 miles per year, and hybrids generally do better when driven regularly. If you're looking for an affordable, dependable, fuel-efficient SUV with one of the biggest maintenance concerns already addressed, this Escape Hybrid is well worth considering.
