This 2005 Yukon XL is in exceptional mechanical condition. It has been meticulously maintained, starting with oil changes every 5,000 miles (vs 7,000 recommended) with Valvoline synthetic blend oil, throughout its life. A year ago I had my local shop do a detailed inspection of the vehicle. All issues that they identified were addressed: - Replaced wheel hub and wheel bearing on left side - Rear heater hose replaced - Replaced both front differential seals - Replaced steering gear box with hydraulic unit - Power steering fluid serviced - Four wheel alignment - Replaced engine oil pan gasket - Replaced steering idler arm and bracket - Replaced right front camber bolt - Replaced rear brake pads and rotors - Brake fluid serviced - Replaced Bank 2 O2 sensor Bottom line: I didn't intend to be selling this vehicle so I maintained it like I would have it for the next 10 years. In addition to an outstanding maintenance record this vehicle comes with: - New battery - New Mohave tires - New Katzkin leather upholstery. Please look closely at the attached pictures - beautiful interior. NOTE about AUTORIDE: The GM Autoride system was a great concept, and it was great, when it worked. The system was plagued with problems - all resulting in expensive repairs. After replacing system components three times, I disabled Autoride and upgraded to HD coil spring shocks. I liked the ride much better after I did this. The base Autoride system and pumps are still in tact, so if whoever buys this vehicle really wants Autoride they can certainly reactivate it. Lots of PROS above, but one CON. There are a few rust spots that should be addressed. All of the Yukon XL, Yukon, Suburban and Tahoe vehicle from this era eventually had rust behind the rear wheels and occasional rust in spots around the wheel wells. You can see these in the pictures. Fortunately these spots can be fixed easily with inexpensive 1/4 panels ($70 - $90 on ebay). ??? please contact me.
