Convertible season is officially here! Enjoy it with the wind flowing through your hair in this stylish 2004 Porsche Boxster Base (Yellow) with manual transmission. We are the 3rd owner of this automotive smile generator, and still get frequent comments on it while out and about. I have many receipts from the prior owner, he was an executive in the auto industry...brakes, I think, and was well connected with the family that started Hella (lighting). Despite ~155,000 miles, it still runs strong. New Battery. Issues: The plastic piece on the front of the inside roof cracked and the inner liner sags (very common on these). Two keys, but the door unlock button on both no longer work...I use the trunk button to unlock the doors, as replacement keys are $500. There is a soldering kit available online if you are handy. Door speakers are not functioning properly, dash speakers work. Door speakers are much easier to swap out, standard 6x9s (whereas the dash require custom mounts)...I may even have an extra set from an '03 that I could provide though. We have not done anything with the IMS bearing. The AOS has been replaced and most recently the motor mount was replaced. Service work during our tenure has been at Mayo Performance exclusively. No CEL lights or issues. Located in Colleyville, willing to meet in (or near) Colleyville.
