Selling my 2002 Ford Ranger XLT SuperCab! Have enjoyed owning this truck, but I'm moving out of state and don't have the time to tackle a few remaining projects, so I'd rather pass it along to someone who can. The truck starts, runs, drives, and shifts well, and it's been a dependable vehicle. The 3.0L V6 is known for being simple, reliable, and inexpensive to maintain, and parts for these trucks are easy to find. Whether you're looking for an affordable work truck, first vehicle, or a solid Ranger to fix up, this is a great platform. Keep in mind that it has not been inspected. The Good: -Starts reliably -Automatic transmission shifts smoothly -AC blows cold -SuperCab provides extra storage behind the seats -Simple, dependable truck that's easy to work on -Good tread on tires Things to Know: I want to be as transparent as possible, so here's what to note. -Engine has an oil leak that should be addressed, likely a valve cover gasket issue -Front suspension needs work, currently squeaks majorly. -Front brakes are getting close to replacement. -Driver's seat has a tear. -Dashboard has a small crack. -Truck will likely need emissions-related repairs before passing California smog. None of these have kept me from driving it, but I'm pricing the truck with these items in mind. You're welcome to bring a mechanic or inspect it yourself before purchasing. I'd much rather be upfront about the truck's condition than waste anyone's time. Asking $3,800 OBO. Reasonable offers considered.
