If you're searching for a 2018 Lexus IS 300 for sale in Marietta, GA, this rear-wheel-drive sedan at Pristine Cars & Trucks deserves a serious look. With a turbocharged four-cylinder engine, an eight-speed automatic transmission, and the kind of refined Lexus build quality that holds up for years, this IS 300 offers European-sport-sedan driving dynamics at a price point that makes a lot of sense for Georgia buyers ready to step into luxury without the new-car depreciation hit. ===== About This 2018 Lexus IS 300 ===== The 2018 Lexus IS 300 is a compelling entry in the luxury compact sedan segment, and this particular example sits at just over 100,000 miles a number that sounds bigger than it really is on a Lexus. These cars are engineered to run well past 200,000 miles with proper maintenance, and the IS platform is widely praised for its long-term durability. At this mileage, you're buying into the sweet spot: the original-owner depreciation has already done its work, and there's still plenty of life left in the vehicle. If you've been browsing used luxury sedans in Cobb County, this one stands out as a well-priced option worth inspecting in person. ===== 2018 Lexus IS 300 Performance and Engine ===== Under the hood of this IS 300 sits a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission sending power to the rear wheels. This RWD configuration is exactly what driving enthusiasts expect from a sport sedan in this class it delivers a balanced, rear-biased feel that makes the IS 300 noticeably more engaging than front-wheel-drive competitors. The turbo four produces around 241 horsepower, giving the car brisk acceleration and confident highway merging capability. The eight-speed automatic shifts smoothly in normal driving and can be manually controlled for a more spirited experience. Around Marietta and throughout the greater Cobb County area, whether you're navigating surface streets or cruising I-75, this powertrain feels appropriately matched to the car's sport-luxury character. ===== Lexus IS 300 Features and Interior ===== ==== Comfort and Technology ==== The IS 300 Sedan 4D trim brings a well-appointed interior that feels genuinely premium rather than aspirationally so. Expect dual-zone automatic climate control, a touchpad-controlled infotainment interface, a premium audio system, and driver-assistance features including pre-collision warning and lane departure alert. The cabin is wrapped in quality materials throughout soft-touch surfaces, a driver-focused cockpit layout, and supportive sport seats that hold you in place without feeling punishing on longer drives. ==== Driver-Focused Design ==== The IS 300 was designed to compete directly with the BMW 3 Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class, and Lexus made sure the interior experience matched that ambition. Visibility is good, the controls fall naturally to hand, and the overall sense of quality that Lexus has built its reputation on is present throughout this cabin. ===== Lexus IS 300 Reliability and Ownership ===== Lexus consistently ranks at or near the top of long-term reliability surveys, and the IS model line is a significant reason why. The 2.0-liter turbo engine in the IS 300 benefits from Lexus's meticulous engineering standards, and owners typically report low ownership costs outside of routine maintenance. Common service items at this mileage spark plugs, cabin air filter, engine air filter, and a possible coolant flush are affordable and straightforward. The eight-speed automatic is known to be smooth and durable. Compared to German luxury alternatives at the same price point, the IS 300 typically comes with a significantly lower cost of ownership, which resonates strongly with buyers throughout the Atlanta metro area who want luxury without the repair bills.
