From Illinois - Texas - Arizona - California - Utah - Wyoming - Colorado - New Mexico - Tennessee - Kentucky - back to Illinois. Death Valley California was 116 degrees. The Vette didn't blink. Vitals were all normal. The Vette was the star of the trip. Handled like a dream, comfortable, and drew looks everywhere. It was only supposed to be 5,000 miles, but we detoured back South to add 2,000 more miles. It was an absolute blast and was the trip of a lifetime. Surprisingly the fuel consumption was 29.5 mpg at 75 mph. In 55 mph zones fuel consumption was 38 mpg. I took a lot of time and looked at a lot of Corvette's for this trip since I knew I would be in the middle of nowhere. I went to Missouri for this, and prior to that it was a Texas car. So it's never seen a Chicago winter. I'm parting with it while there is still Summer &amp; Fall for the next owner. Serious buyers only. No joyrides. Under 21 must have a parent. No trades, bitcoin, or other trickery. All on the up-and-up.
