2000 Porsche 996 Carrera Convertible Arctic Silver w/2004 M97 Porsche 997 Engine, 6 SPEED manual transmission.  63,229 miles on the body, and approx. 21,000 miles on the 2004 M97 997 Engine since installation.  Always garaged and/or covered well.  Well Maintained!!  The Original owner paid $90,283.50 in Reno and lived in Malibu, driving highway miles on the vehicle. I am the second owner living in Central California.  I purchased the vehicle in Sept 2009.  The original owner spent approx. $20K on a replacement engine at about 40K miles, which was their way of removing the IMS bearing obstacle.  So, the engine is very young, and most would say better than the original 996 engine that came in the car originally.  The 997 Engine came after the 996 Engine, and some mechanics would say it's bullet proof.   The Porsche I am selling stands out among other 996 models and sounds like it.  Only 63K miles on the body, AND ONLY APPROX 21K MILES ON THE 2004 M97 PORSCHE 997 ENGINE.  Grey Leather and grey interior finished in Arctic Silver Metallic Paint.  All Manuals and accessories are with the vehicle.  Full set of maintenance records, 60K service, etc.  Serviced with SGS and The Stable Porsche Service in San Luis Obispo since Sept 2009.  All tires in good shape.  The rear tires have about 300 miles on them, they were replaced in Sept 2025.  Brand new battery put in April 2026.  Aftermarket CD stereo with excellent sound.  This Porsche has always been kept on a speed smart battery charger. This is a classic preserved Porsche that has a long life ahead of it and can be preserved to be a piece of Porsche history.
