Earth MotorCars is proud to present this exceptionally rare and highly collectible 1987 Porsche 911 Turbo 505 Flachbau Cabriolet a factory M505 Slant Nose finished in a spectacular color combination and accompanied by a Clean CARFAX and service records. Few Porsche models capture the outrageous performance, unmistakable styling, and excess of the 1980s quite like the legendary 930 Turbo Flachbau. Born from Porsche's dominant 935 racing program, the Slant Nose transformed the already iconic 911 Turbo into one of the most exotic and instantly recognizable road-going Porsches of its era. This example was produced through Porsche's famed Sonderwunsch, or "Special Wishes," program and equipped from the factory with the coveted M505 Flachbau (Slant Nose) option package. Rather than the traditional upright 911 headlights, the Flachbau featured the dramatic low-profile nose and pop-up headlights inspired by Porsche's competition-bred 935. Highlights Include: Factory M505 Flachbau / Slant Nose Produced through Porsche's Sonderwunsch Special Request Program Turbocharged 3.3L Flat 6-Cylinder Engine 4-Speed Manual Transmission Midnight Blue Exterior Sky Blue Leather Interior Power-Operated Convertible Soft Top Air Conditioning Power Windows Central Locking System Service Records Clean CARFAX Finished in Midnight Blue over Sky Blue leather, this Cabriolet has an extraordinary period-correct presence. Drop the power-operated top, engage first gear and the experience becomes everything an air-cooled Porsche Turbo should be mechanical, visceral and unmistakably analog. The 930 Turbo was already one of the defining performance cars of the 1980s. The factory M505 Flachbau took that formula several steps further, combining Porsche's legendary turbocharged performance with styling directly influenced by one of the marque's most successful racing cars. Rare. Turbocharged. Air-cooled. Manual. Cabriolet. Factory Slant Nose. For the serious Porsche collector, this is the combination that makes the M505 Flachbau one of the most distinctive and desirable expressions of the legendary 930 Turbo.
