This Diesel X5 was custom ordered, fully loaded (all options available on the 2011 35d model except for the larger offset wheels) at BMW of Vista (California) in July of 2011. Deep Sea Blue (A76) exterior with brown Tobacco Nevada leather interior. It has been maintained by BMW dealerships and the local German-car repair shop since. Accident-free. Includes original factory BMW wheels with OEM run-flat all-season tires and a second set of original factory BMW wheels of the same style with OEM run-flat Blizzak winter tires. The BMW dealership added a factory BMW trailer hitch after delivery. It starts up immediately, the engine sounds AMAZING and has LOTS of Diesel power, and the infotainment including navigation, TPM, vehicle status, etc. works. However, the X5 is showing its age and is sold AS IS. There is a parasitic draw that came after the local (Hayden, Idaho) German car repair shop deleted the DEF/DPF system rather than replacing it. The engine produces more power now (and sounds so solid, purrs like a kitten...) but also rolls coal. The A/C blows very cold but does not blow strongly out of the front air vents (possible diverter issue). The local German repair shop has checked out the suspension and replaced most wear items but there is still an unidentified clanking sound on washboard roads; otherwise it does drive straight and handle great. It still runs and handles better than most non-German cars! The exterior is clean but has the scratches you might expect after 15 years of family use. Interior is likewise generally clean but shows wear and tear of raising three boys...the youngest came home from the hospital in this vehicle a year after purchase. After 15 years of love and road trips, we are upgrading to a newer X5 and need to sell. The vehicle is a great value for a BMW Diesel lover who has time to tinker to resolve the issues. It is available for viewing near Hwy 95 and Garwood Road north of Hayden, Idaho.
