===== 2004 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S Cabriolet: Seal Grey, Black Full Leather, Sport Exhaust, Widebody 996 Presence ===== This 2004 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S Cabriolet is exactly why the 996 C4S has become one of the most interesting Porsche buys right now. Finished in *Seal Grey Metallic over Black Full Leather* with a *Black soft top*, this Carrera 4S Cabriolet has the look people want from a 996: widebody stance, Turbo-style presence, all-wheel-drive confidence, the signature rear reflector, and the open-air experience of a proper 911 Cabriolet. The 996 generation has had a complete image change. For years, these cars were overlooked. Now, enthusiasts are waking up to what they really are: lighter, more compact, more analog-feeling modern 911s that still deliver the real Porsche experience without the huge price jump of air-cooled cars, GT cars, or modern Turbos. And within the 996 lineup, the Carrera 4S is one of the cars people are finally chasing. ==== Why the 996 Carrera 4S Is Special ==== The 996 Carrera 4S was never just a standard Carrera with a badge. It borrowed the widebody look and visual attitude from the 996 Turbo, giving it wider rear hips, a more aggressive stance, Turbo-style design cues, and the full-width rear reflector that has become one of the defining features of the C4S. That rear end is the car s calling card. It looks wide, planted, and unmistakably special. Park it next to a narrow-body 996 Carrera and the difference is immediate. The Carrera 4S has more presence, more attitude, and more of the exotic Porsche look buyers want. The Cabriolet adds another layer. With the top down, the C4S becomes a true open-air grand touring 911: stylish, usable, engaging, and full of character. ==== The Best 996 for the Real World ==== A 996 C4S Cabriolet makes a strong case as one of the best real-world modern classic 911s. It has all-wheel drive, so it feels secure and planted. It has the widebody look, so it feels special every time you see it. It has naturally aspirated 911 character, so it still feels mechanical and responsive. It has the Cabriolet roof, so the drive feels like an occasion. It has enough modern comfort to use regularly without feeling old or fragile. That is the sweet spot. This is not a car you have to hide away. It is the kind of Porsche you can actually enjoy: morning drives, weekend trips, coastal roads, evening cruises, and top-down drives where the sound and feel of the car become the whole point. ==== Seal Grey Over Black Full Leather ==== *Seal Grey Metallic* is one of the great 996-era Porsche colors. It gives the car a mature, expensive, understated look and works especially well with the C4S widebody. The color shows the curves without shouting. It gives the car a serious, timeless appearance that still looks modern today. Inside, the *Black Full Leather* interior is exactly what you want in a premium 911 of this era. The Full Leather cabin, thicker steering wheel, aluminum-look/leather gear shift and brake handle, stainless steel/chrome package, and Carrera-logo storage compartment lid all give the interior a more special and properly optioned feel. This car does not feel basic. It feels like a well-kept, high-spec early-2000s Porsche. ==== Sport Exhaust and the Right Options ==== This Carrera 4S Cabriolet was ordered with a great list of factory equipment. The *Sport Exhaust System* is the standout enthusiast option. On a Cabriolet, Sport Exhaust matters even more because you actually hear and experience the flat-six with the roof down. It gives the car more emotion, more personality, and more of the Porsche soundtrack buyers want. It also has *heated seats*, *BOSE High End Sound*, *Bi-Xenon head>
