Perfect Auto Collection Signature Listing 2019 McLaren 600LT VIN SBM13RAA4KW006799 | 8,587 miles Longtail is the rarest badge McLaren issues. This one left Woking as an MSO Defined car and was optioned $64,820 past its base price. Why We Acquired This Vehicle McLaren has applied the Longtail name three times in its history. The first was the F1 GTR Longtail of 1997, built to win at Le Mans. The second was the 675LT. The third is this car. LT is not a trim package - it is a defined engineering program that demands more power, more downforce, sharper responses, and above all less weight than the car it is derived from. The 600LT sheds nearly 220 pounds against the 570S, routes its exhaust vertically through the engine cover, and was built in strictly limited numbers before the line closed. This example arrived with its original window sticker, so its specification is documented rather than assumed - and the document is remarkable. Against a $240,000 base, it was delivered at $304,820, nearly $65,000 in added specification. What makes it unusual is where that money went: the overwhelming majority of it was spent on carbon fiber and on work commissioned through McLaren Special Operations, the division that handles bespoke orders at Woking. This is not a car that was optioned for comfort. It was optioned in the same direction the LT program itself points. The verified appointments are detailed in full below. It is finished in MSO Papaya Spark over a Carbon Black interior. Papaya is the color Bruce McLaren raced in, and specifying it through MSO on a Longtail is about as coherent a decision as an owner of one of these cars can make. At 8,587 miles it has been exercised rather than stored, which is the correct history for a car with a dry-sump twin-turbo V8 and carbon ceramic brakes. We ask a quieter question: how does it present, and would we be proud to place it in our own collection? This 600LT is one of the more convincing cars we have handled, because the sticker and the car agree with each other. On paper it is a $304,820 build in which almost every dollar above base went toward the two things this model exists for - lightweight structure and bespoke execution through McLaren Special Operations. In person the orange is startling in daylight and the exposed weave across the body reads as engineering rather than decoration. It is a coherent, uncompromised specification of a car that was itself uncompromised, and we would put our name against it without hesitation. Why Enthusiasts Value This Model The Longtail designation is the reason. McLaren guards it, and each car that has car>
