Up for sale is my 2006 Toyota Matrix XR Sport Wagon in blue with a gray interior. This car has been in our household for the last 8 1/2 years, my daughter has owned it since February 2018. It's been an extremely reliable car and still is to this day. Other than the standard maintenance items like oil changes, spark plugs, tires and brakes, we've only had to replace the alternator, battery and sway bar links. I have 2 keys, but only 1 keyless remote fob. The battery in that fob was just replaced. **Key details:** - 1.8L 4-cylinder, automatic, 2WD - 197,136 miles (Average for this age car is 240,000) - VIN: 2T1KR32E36C563079 - MPG (city 25, highway 31) - AC blows ice cold - Good condition **Options:** - 4-wheel ABS - Power Steering - Power Windows - Power Door Locks - Cruise Control - Tilt Wheel - AM/FM Stereo - CD Player (single disc) - AC **Maintenance Performed:** - Replaced alternator and battery 12/2020 - Replaced sway bar links and bushings 2/2024 - Replaced spark plugs 6/2024 - Replaced tires 11/2025 - Last oil change 7/2026 The car has 2 noticeable issues on the body. On the drivers side rocker panel there is a bunch of rust near the bottom. On the passenger side rear panel there is a combination of a dent and scrapes/scratches. You should be able to see that from the pictures I've included. This has been factored into the private party sale price. Also, when the tires were replaced in November last year, Discount Tire told me they couldn't do an alignment due to rust being on the suspension components, they didn't want to risk breaking anything. I would assume taking it to a mechanic to get an alignment would work out fine to accomplish that, but it's something I didn't pursue since the car drove straight. However, it is best practice to align it after tires are replaced to lengthen the life of the tread. Let me know if you have any questions!
