This 2016 BMW 6 Series ALPINA B6 xDrive Gran Coupe is a four-door fastback sedan finished with ALPINA-specific exterior details and the proportions associated with BMW's 6 Series line. It carries the familiar long hood, low roofline, and sweeping rear profile of the Gran Coupe body style, along with the more restrained visual treatment that ALPINA applies to its cars. The result is a vehicle that combines the size and practicality of a large sedan with the shape of a performance-focused grand tourer. The exterior surfaces are clean and deliberate, and the overall appearance reflects the underlying 6 Series platform without adding unnecessary ornamentation. This example is equipped with leather seats, and the cabin follows the same approach as the exterior by focusing on material quality and straightforward presentation. The seating area is trimmed in leather throughout the main contact points, and the interior design uses BMW's driver-oriented layout with controls arranged within easy reach of the front occupants. The Gran Coupe body also provides a more accommodating rear passenger area than a two-door coupe, and the additional doors make access simpler without altering the general character of the car. The atmosphere inside is calm and substantial, with the kind of fit and finish expected from a premium German sedan from this period. This vehicle includes premium audio, navigation, sunroof(s), backup camera and automatic climate control. Those items add to the equipment list without changing the car's basic function, and they cover entertainment, route guidance, open-air cabin lighting, reversing visibility and cabin temperature management. The navigation system is integrated into the dashboard display, while the backup camera provides a rearward view when maneuvering at low speed. The automatic climate control system allows temperature settings to be regulated electronically, and the sunroof adds another feature to the roof area without affecting the car's overall profile. The audio system is positioned for in-cabin playback and is part of the standard daily-use equipment a buyer would expect to find in a well-optioned luxury performance sedan. This 2016 BMW 6 Series ALPINA B6 xDrive Gran Coupe is built around a performance-oriented drivetrain with xDrive all-wheel drive, which gives it the traction benefits associated with BMW's full-time AWD system. ALPINA's calibration and hardware changes are part of the car's identity, and they separate it from a standard 6 Series while keeping the same general mission of long-distance speed and controlled road manners. The four-door format adds practicality, yet the chassis, body shape and tuning remain centered on firm road behavior and capable high-speed travel. This vehicle presents itself as a serious grand touring sedan with the features and equipment listed above, and its appeal comes from the combination of its platform, ALPINA-specific preparation, and the documented options fitted to this example.
