2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee Silver 179,500 Miles Selling a 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 179,500 miles. The Jeep runs and drives well and has been a reliable vehicle. It has a newer battery installed within the last 3 months, tires replaced within the last 2 years, and heated seats. Please note that this is an older, high-mileage vehicle and is being sold with several known issues. The radio does not work, the sunroof does not work, and the rear windshield wiper does not work. The TPMS sensor is not functioning, so the tire pressure warning light is on. The check engine light is also on for an exhaust leak. This light has been on for multiple years, and attempts have been made to diagnose the issue without finding the exact cause. While trying to fix the light years prior, the muffler was changed but now hits against the frame of the car so there will be an intermittent grinding sound (worst going up hills) while driving (usually goes away after 10-15 seconds). The clock spring is broken, which causes the airbag warning light to remain on. The key is also not working properly (may need a new battery). Despite these issues, the Jeep runs well and is a good option for someone looking for an inexpensive SUV/project vehicle or who is comfortable addressing some repairs.
