This 2017 Mazda CX-9 Grand Touring is a midsize crossover with three rows of seating and a cabin arranged for seven-passenger use. The body is finished with the longer, more upright proportions typical of the model, while the Grand Touring trim places the vehicle toward the upper end of the CX-9 range. Inside, the seating surfaces are trimmed in leather, giving the interior a more finished appearance than the lower trims. The third row is present as part of the seating arrangement, and it adds flexibility for carrying additional passengers when needed. The vehicle presents a practical mix of space and equipment without relying on complicated controls or unnecessary extras. This example includes Adaptive Cruise Control, which adds a driver-assistance function to the vehicle's existing cruise features. Lane Keep Assist is also fitted, along with Head Up Display, and those items are part of the equipment commonly associated with the Grand Touring grade. The display projects selected information into the driver's line of sight without requiring a direct look down at the instrument panel. These features are integrated into the cabin rather than added as aftermarket accessories, and they reflect the level of convenience and awareness built into this trim. The vehicle's controls remain straightforward, with the available technology concentrated in places that are easy to access and use. The interior includes Premium Audio, giving the cabin a higher-grade sound system than the standard arrangement. The seating area is laid out to accommodate passengers in multiple rows, and the rear portion of the cabin is able to carry people rather than being limited to cargo use alone. The front seating position is fitted with leather upholstery, and the overall presentation follows Mazda's more restrained approach to design, with a focus on clean surfaces and clear switchgear. Storage areas, climate controls, and infotainment components are arranged in a conventional manner that does not require a long learning period. Materials and features are selected in a way that suits a well-equipped family-oriented utility vehicle. This 2017 Mazda CX-9 Grand Touring combines its available driver-assist equipment with a cabin that includes the expected comfort and convenience items for the trim level. The third row adds a seating option for larger groups, while the leather trim and upgraded audio system give the interior a more substantial feel. Head Up Display, Lane Keep Assist, and Adaptive Cruise Control are all present without overwhelming the cabin with added hardware or visible clutter. The vehicle's feature set is focused on practical daily use, and its equipment list is substantial without being excessive.
