One-owner 2020 Toyota Mirai with approximately 48,000 miles. I purchased this car brand new, and it has been extremely reliable throughout my ownership. It runs and drives beautifully, has been well cared for, and has never given me any major mechanical issues. The car also has several significant recent items and upgrades that add value and reduce near-term ownership costs. It has virtually new premium Yokohama tires, a nearly new 12-volt starting battery, and premium XPEL ceramic window tint for improved heat and UV rejection. The California registration was also just renewed for another year. The Mirai is a hydrogen fuel-cell electric vehicle, so it drives like an electric car but does not plug in to charge. Instead, it is fueled at dedicated hydrogen stations. It is exceptionally smooth, quiet, comfortable, and has the feel of a much more expensive luxury sedan. This car is best suited for someone who already understands hydrogen ownership or has convenient access to hydrogen fueling in Southern California. Prospective buyers should confirm hydrogen station availability and current hydrogen pricing in their area before purchasing. The original complimentary Toyota hydrogen fuel card has been fully used, so future fuel costs will be the buyer's responsibility. Routine maintenance has been straightforward. Because the Mirai uses a specialized high-pressure hydrogen and fuel-cell system, any fuel-cell or hydrogen-system service should be performed by a Toyota dealer or qualified facility equipped to service Mirai vehicles. The car is still driven regularly and has been a dependable, comfortable, and enjoyable vehicle.
