Selling our loved Thunderbird. We bought from the 2nd owner in 2019 with about 109,000 miles, it now has approx 136,000 miles. It was my wife's primary driver for several years, but saw very few miles. My father has been using it as a weekender for the last 3 years. We are looking to sell to purchase a sensible daily driver for family. This is the last year the Thunderbird was produced and this one features 50th anniversary trim. Optional 17 spoke wheels, platinum paint. It has the 3.9 all aluminum DOHC Jaguar V8 with a Ford 5 speed auto... new it was rated around 280HP which moves the car beautifully. This car has Navy blue/lighter blue real leather interior. This one was ordered with the factory hard top and a slate blue soft top. Pioneer stereo and speakers from Custom Sounds, apple and android wireless connection. COLD ac! Good: Owned by a Ford fanatic - 19 and counting Fires up instantly with a beautiful V8 rumble Installed Pioneer stereo with wireless apple car play and android. Replace Throttle body within the last year Reworked front end and replaced steering rack Replaced mixing valve on AC/Heater Changed oil regularly with Mobile 1 Never wrecked - has dent where someone backed into it Not so Good: Front engine cover and valve covers have oil leak. 1/2qt per 1000 miles. dent over driver rear fender where someone backed into it a parking lot- in pictures trans is a little soft on the shifts, but it still drives very well- just had filter and fluid changed A couple spots on the paint that are not perfect - in pictures Soft top has marks from a pressure washer getting too close (we bought it that way). This car is a joy to drive. If you have owned one, you know. If you are looking for a classic feel with all the modern touches this car is perfect. It is a 2005, so it is not loaded with electronics that go bad after 20 years. Ready to go as weekender, a little work makes it a comfortable commuter. Thx Bruce
