Selling my silver 2010 Ford Focus SEL Sedan. It has just under 147,000 miles, and is in good condition. Runs good, and is easy to drive.. 140 HP motor with a highly durable 4-speed automatic transmission (In 2012, Ford introduced the infamous &quot;PowerShift&quot; dual-clutch automatic transmission, which was plagued by massive failures, shuttering, and lawsuits. The 2010 model is mechanically rock-solid by comparison.) Engine is a 2.0-liter Duratec 4-cylinder engine (considered by mechanics to be incredibly robust). It uses a timing chain rather than a timing belt, so you don't need to worry about a belt snapping and destroying the engine. With basic oil changes, these engines routinely cross 200,000 miles. Low Purchase and Ownership Costs: Because it is a discontinued sedan from 2010, its market value is very low, making it an excellent choice for a first car, a daily commuter, or a winter beater. Good Fuel Economy: 24 MPG city and 34 MPG highway. For an inexpensive, non-hybrid older vehicle, it keeps daily fuel costs quite manageable. The SEL Trim Adds get upgraded features that make an older car much more enjoyable: Leather-trimmed, heated front seats. 16-inch alloy wheels (instead of plastic hubcaps) Ambient interior lighting (you can change the footwell colors) Ford SYNC for basic Bluetooth hands-free calling and audio and many other features. New 3 year battery (replaced in August) New wipers This is a great car for getting around town.
