1988 PORSCHE 911 CARRERA CABRIOLET 5-SPEED MANUAL, GRAY LEATHER INTERIOR, TEAL COLORED PPF, AND MORE! OVERVIEW The 1988 911 Carrera captures the spirit of classic Porsche motoring. Part of the iconic G-Series generation, this Carrera delivers a pure and engaging experience with timeless styling, a naturally aspirated flat-six, and the unmistakable character that has made the 911 a favorite among enthusiasts for generations. Power comes from a 3.2-liter air-cooled flat-six engine producing 217 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque. Paired with a 5-speed manual transmission, it sends power to the rear wheels, offering a direct connection between driver and machine. The Carrera's handling reflects Porsche's decades of sports-car development, with a well-balanced chassis, independent suspension, and four-wheel disc brakes. The exterior carries the unmistakable lines of the classic 911, with rounded headlights, sculpted fenders, and a sloping rear deck. The Cabriolet's fully retractable soft top adds an extra dimension to the experience, allowing drivers to enjoy the flat-six soundtrack and open air whenever the weather allows. Inside, the driver-focused cabin features traditional instrumentation, supportive seating, and simplistic controls. The 1988 Porsche 911 Carrera offers a distinctive combination of vintage character, open-air enjoyment, and engaging performance. As part of the final years of the G-Series 911, it represents an important chapter in Porsche history, before the arrival of the 964 generation. For enthusiasts and collectors alike, it delivers the appeal of an air-cooled Porsche in one of its most enjoyable forms.
