1-Owner for 18 Years/ 2nd overall owner: 2001 Toyota Tacoma PreRunner Double Cab Excellent Mechanical Condition, Solid Frame Price: $7,500 (Open to reasonable offers) Mileage: 234,500 Engine: 4-Cylinder (2.7L) Transmission: Automatic Drivetrain: 4x2 PreRunner Title: Clean Title in Hand ________________________________________ Description Up for sale is a reliable, enthusiast-favorite 2001 Toyota Tacoma PreRunner Double Cab. If you know first-generation Tacomas, you know these trucks are legendary for their longevity. I have personally owned and cared for this truck for the last 18 years, and it has been incredibly dependable. It is in excellent running condition and ready for its next chapter. The absolute biggest selling point of this Tacoma is its structural integrity. It has very little frame rust, which is somewhat rare for a 1st-gen of this vintage. The frame is solid, clean, and has been kept away from harsh road salt. The Good: Long-Term Ownership: Owned for 18 years by one owner who ensured it was driven properly and maintained. Mechanically Flawless: Starts right up, idles smoothly, shifts well, and drives strong every day. Currently no known mechanical issues. Double Cab Convenience: The 4-door layout offers plenty of cab space while keeping the classic, maneuverable Tacoma footprint. Good Rubber: Sits on a set of good tires with plenty of tread life left. Approximately 8,200 miles are currently on the tires. Solid Frame: Clean underneath with minimal, superficial rust. See photos. Interior: Very little wear and tear for a 2001. No rips. See photos. Paperwork: Clean title in hand. The Honest: Fair Paint: The exterior paint shows its age with some typical fading and clear coat wear expected for a 2001 vehicle. It's a solid, honest truck, not a showroom truck, and the price reflects this. Some superficial body rust: See photos. This is a turn-key daily driver or a perfect platform for a Toyota enthusiast who appreciates a 1st-gen Tacoma
