====== 2001 AUDI TT ROADSTER ====== *VIN: TRUTX28N50* *69,328 MILES | SILVER OVER BLACK | ROADSTER | SERVICED | VERY CLEAN | PRICED TO SELL* Okay... I already know what you're thinking. ====== 'ROB... IT'S FALL.' ====== Correct. Very observant. It's also the time of year when everybody stops shopping for convertibles. Which means... ====== THIS IS EXACTLY WHEN YOU BUY ONE. ====== You can wait until the first 75-degree Saturday in spring when everybody suddenly remembers they want a convertible. Or you can have a functioning brain and buy it *before everybody else wants it.* ====== BUY THE CONVERTIBLE WHEN NOBODY'S SHOPPING FOR CONVERTIBLES. ====== There. That's the ad. Actually... No. Because this isn't just some convertible. ====== IT'S A FIRST-GENERATION AUDI TT ROADSTER. ====== And if you remember when these came out... ====== THIS THING LOOKED LIKE IT LANDED FROM SPACE. ====== Twenty-five years later? It still looks cool. ---------------------------------------- ====== 69,328 MILES. ====== Hold on. ====== SIXTY-NINE THOUSAND. ====== On a *2001.* This isn't some 160K-mile convertible that's been passed around every summer since flip phones were cool. It's clean. It's been serviced. It's been cared for. And it shows. ====== THIS IS THE KIND OF OLD CAR YOU ACTUALLY WANT TO FIND. ====== ---------------------------------------- ====== SILVER OVER BLACK. ====== There are certain cars where silver just works. The original TT? ====== ABSOLUTELY ONE OF THEM. ====== Silver body. Black interior. Clean lines. Low stance. That unmistakable TT shape. No gigantic fake grille. No 47 screens glued to the dashboard. No car trying desperately to look angry. ====== JUST GOOD DESIGN. ====== Remember that? ---------------------------------------- ====== AND IT'S A ROADSTER. ====== Yes. The roof comes down. In fall. Crazy concept. You know what else happens in fall? ====== 65-DEGREE DAYS. ====== Heater on. Top down. Back road. Nobody sweating through their shirt. Nobody burning their legs on the seats. Nobody sitting in shore traffic wondering why they thought August was romantic. ====== FALL MIGHT ACTUALLY BE BETTER. ====== There. I said it. ---------------------------------------- ====== 'BUT WINTER IS COMING.' ====== Wonderful. Do you know what comes after winter? ====== SPRING. ====== Every single year. We're pretty confident it's happening again. And when that first beautiful Saturday shows up... You're going to see somebody driving with the top down. Then you're going to remember this ad. Then you're going to call. And I'm going to say... ====== 'WHAT AUDI?' ====== Don't do that to yourself. ---------------------------------------- ====== SERVICED. ====== This matters. Because cheap old European cars can be one of two things: A bargain. Or a hostage situation. ====== WE LIKE THE FIRST KIND. ====== This one has been serviced. It's very clean. The miles are right. And the price? ====== WE DIDN'T GET EMOTIONALLY ATTACHED. ====== We price>
